Bacon and Cheese Keto Stromboli

1 ½ egg, large
3 ½ tbsp Cheddar cheese
50 g bacon
5 tbsp Mozzarella cheese, shredded
5 tbsp almond flour
1 ½ tsp oregano
1 ½ tsp basil
1 ½ tbsp coconut flour
2 pinch salt
2 pinch black pepper
*All purple -colored products are essential.

Preparations

1 step

Preheat the oven 400°F/200°C and in a microwave melt the mozzarella cheese. About 1 minute, then 10 second intervals, stirring occasionally.

Combine almond flour, coconut flour and seasonings in a mixing bowl, then place melted mozzarella on top and begin working it in.

After about a minute, when the cheese has had a chance to cool down a bit, add in the egg and combine everything together.

Transfer it to a flat surface with some parchment paper and lay a sheet of parchment paper on top. Use a rolling pin or your hand to flatten it out.

Use a pizza cutter or knife to cut diagonal lines beginning from the edges of the dough to the center, leave a row of dough untouched.

Alternate laying bacon and cheddar on that uncut stretch of dough.

7 step

Then lift one section of dough at a time and lay it over the top, covering your filling.

8 step

Bake it for about 15-20 minutes until you see it has turned a golden brown color.
